Good Deed #86- Believe in the Day of Judgment

http://1000gooddeeds.com/2009/12/07/good-deed-86-believe-in-the-day-of-judgement/

1. 1:4 (Y. Ali) Master of the Day of Judgment.
2. 2:281 (Y. Ali) And fear the Day when ye shall be brought back to Allah. Then shall every soul be paid what it earned, and none shall be dealt with unjustly.
3. 3:25 (Y. Ali) But how (will they fare) when we gather them together against a day about which there is no doubt, and each soul will be paid out just what it has earned, without (favor or) injustice?
4. 3:106 (Y. Ali) On the Day when some faces will be (lit up with) white, and some faces will be (in the gloom of) black: To those whose faces will be black, (will be said): “Did ye reject Faith after accepting it? Taste then the penalty for rejecting Faith.”
5. 3:161 (Y. Ali) No prophet could (ever) be false to his trust. If any person is so false, He shall, on the Day of Judgment, restore what he misappropriated; then shall every soul receive its due, whatever it earned, and none shall be dealt with unjustly.
6. 3:185 (Y. Ali) Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception.
7. 3:194 (Y. Ali) “Our Lord! Grant us what Thou didst promise unto us through Thine apostles, and save us from shame on the Day of Judgment: For Thou never breakest Thy promise.”
8. 14:41 (Y. Ali) “O our Lord! Cover (us) with Thy forgiveness -- me, my parents, and (all) Believers, on the Day that the reckoning will be established!
9. 17:36 (Y. Ali) And pursue not that of which thou hast no knowledge; for every act of hearing, or of seeing or of (feeling in) the heart will be enquired into (on the Day of reckoning).
10. 24:24-25 (Y. Ali) On the Day when their tongues, their hands, and their feet will bear witness against them as to their actions, On that Day Allah will pay them back (all) their just dues, and they will realize that Allah is the (very) truth, that makes all things manifest.
11. 84:7-12 (Y. Ali) Then he who is given his record in his right hand, soon will his account be taken by an easy reckoning, and he will turn to his people, rejoicing! But he who is given his record behind his back, soon will he cry for perdition, and he will enter a blazing Fire.
12. Narrated Abdullah: The Prophet said, “I am your predecessor at the lake-fount (Kauthar) and some men amongst you will be brought to me, and when I will try to hand them some water, they will be pulled away from me by force whereupon I will say, ‘O Lord, my companions!’ Then the Almighty will say, ‘You do not know what they did after you left, they introduced new things into the religion after you.’” Bukhari 9:88:173
13. The Messenger (S.A.W.) told us in an authentic hadith, “The first thing the people will be accountable for on the Day of Judgment is prayer, Allah will say to His angels (even though he already knows): “Look at my servants prayers. Were they complete or not?” If they were complete it will be written as complete. If they were not fully complete Allah will say: “See if my servant has voluntary prayers. If he has them Allah will say: Complete his obligatory prayers shortage with his voluntary prayers.” Then the rest of his deeds will be dealt with in the same manner.” {Reported by Imams Ahmad, Abu Dawood, An-Nisa’i, and Al-Hakim}
14. The messenger (S.A.W.) said: “Allah will talk to everyone directly, without a translator. The person will look to his right, and will not see anything but his deeds. Then the person, will look in front of himself and will see nothing but the hellfire facing him. So protect yourself from Hellfire even by giving a charity of half a date.” {Reported by Imam Bukhari}
15. The Messenger described the questioning in a speech reported by Imam Muslim that the prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) said: “Allah (S.W.T.) will meet a person and ask him: “O person, wasn’t I generous with you, and made you with a spouse, and made the horses and camels at your disposal? The servant will reply “yes”! Allah (S.W.T.) will then ask, “Did you think that you will meet me?” He will reply: “No!” Allah (S.W.T.) will say: “I will forget you like you forgot me!” Then Allah (S.W.T.) will meet another person and his reply will be the same as the first person. Then Allah (S.W.T.) will meet a third person and will ask similar questions, and the person’s reply will be: “O Lord I believed in you, in your books, and in your messengers. I prayed, I fasted, and I gave charity. And he will praise Allah as much as he can. Allah (S.W.T.) will say: “Hold on to your words, now we will bring the witnesses. The person will ask himself, “Who will testify against me?” Then that persons mouth will be sealed, and his thighs, flesh and bones will be asked to speak. They will speak about his bad deeds. He will know that he has no excuse. That is the hypocrite Allah (S.W.T.) will be furious with!”

Action Plan

The most single certain and uncertain event in this world is related to the death, everyone certain that he or she will die one day but they are not certain when they will die. It is a fundamental belief of a Muslim that one day this universe will perish on the day of Qiyamma (doomed day) when Angel Isra’fil (peace be on him) will blow the trumpet. Its sound will be so frightening and intense that its shock will kill every living thing and every material will be shattered and destroyed. That day all human beings and living souls shall die; the entire universe will perish. Mountains will fly like cotton flakes, and the planets and stars etc. will disintegrate and fall down. The Day of Judgment (Qiyamat) is about to come. But no one known its exact time, except Allah. Our Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) has foretold some signs of Qiyamat. By observing those signs, nearness of the Day of Judgment can be determined. They are:

1. Sins begin to increase in the world.
2. People begin to disobey their parents and become harsh towards them.
3. There is breach of trust.
4. Singing, dancing, and revelry is in abundance.
5. The new generation begins to find fault in their forefathers.
6. Uneducated and the ill-educated become the leaders.
7. Shepherds etc. and lowly placed people begin to build lofty buildings.
8. Incompetent and unworthy persons are appointed to high positions.

When the above things happen, take that the Qiyamat is near.
